    Featuring some of underground clubland's hottest producers, DJs and artists, creative collective MDC kick off 2012 with 'Beat Dun Drop', one of the most exciting new tracks of the year featuring the vocals of rising star, MTV award-winner Meleka. Premiered by Radio 1's Mistajam who correctly predicted that "I'm predicting massive things for this tune, you just cannot go wrong with steel drums, a bit of bass and Meleka's vocals", 'Beat Dun Drop' is a wonderful fusion of bass heavy club music and neon lit pop. Having worked with artists such as Kelis, Wiley, Basement Jaxx, Chipmunk, and Donae'o, as well as collaborating with the likes of award-winning producer Fraser T Smith, Meleka is one of the most original new singer/songwriters to have emerged from the UK Funky scene. With over a million views of her own tracks on YouTube, MDC collaboration 'Beat Dun Drop' provides the perfect backdrop for her vocal talents to shine. Already a club smash, 'Beat Dun Drop' comes backed with remixes from the likes of Stanton Warriors, Wideboys, FireFlowerz and Housquare, delivering a truly heavyweight package. With several more high profile collaborations scheduled to drop throughout 2012, and the MDC live show ready to hit the summer's festivals prepare for MDC's tropical bass and beats to be the sound of Summer.
