Pedals, a drum machine, electric guitar tuned down, good amps when I can borrow them, the necro amp I own otherwise, iPods (working and broken), birds outside my window, conversations, wind, breaking glass and slamming doors, rusted bars and plastic off cuts, foley sound, misused and broken microphones, an organ I found on the street, computers with many free and stolen programs, my second hand mixer, screaming, yelling, shouting, growling, speaking and anything else I can find that can make sound.
machinoir (pronounce it however you like) is for the most part a musical project generally working around the negative, personal aspects of life. It goes beyond music to graphic design and animation as well.
Started in the Blue Mountains (Sydney, Australia) late '04 from roots in technical death metal and grindcore, sounds though have come from a diverse list of music and non musical influences.

So far shows have been done with The Amenta, Robotosaurus, Dining In Tuscany, Guantanamo Bay City Rollers and Beyond Terror Beyond Grace, though primarily machinoir is about recordings rather than performance.
Right now working on a couple of things at once. Focus is currently on the album "The Deathbirds Departure" which was planned to come out late 09, but that's unlikely. Writing and work has begun on another internet release and work is going on on other things as well, some of which will be accessible, others that won't.
