MacIntyre Family Singers perform for NISH/Ability One national convention
with acclaimed Paramount CEO and producer Sherry Lansing.

Katelyn MacIntyre has trained classically in voice for eight years, singing, performing and recording in Italian, German, Latin, Hebrew and Spanish. She recently performed as a vocalist with the Phoenix Symphony at the Dodge Theatre under the direction of Ralph Carmichael. She has been profiled on national and local television shows, newscasts and print media as vocalist, dancer and horseback rider. She currently performs for conventions, churches, charities, colleges and weddings as a paid vocalist. She has recently sung at the Kennedy Center, Terrace Theater and Union Station in Washington DC and has performed the national anthem twice at US Airways Centre for stadium athletic events.

In addition to performing as soprano for the MacIntyre Family Singers, Katelyn has performed with other ensembles. She auditioned and joined the Scottsdale Community College A’cappella Choir at 11 years old and was a soloist in 12 of the 12 concerts performed. Known as the “singing, clogging, cowgirl,” she thoroughly enjoys bringing her music to all audiences.

Todd MacIntyre has performed as a featured soloist and in ensemble at such notable venues as the Koussevitzky Music Shed, Seiji Ozawa Concert Hall, Orpheum Theater, Herberger Theater, Chandler Performing Arts Center, Chase Field (Diamondbacks), and USAirways Center (Phoenix Suns). Classically, he has studied under such notable vocalists as Gary Durham, Franc D’Ambrosio, Lorenzo Malfatti, Matthew Larson, Phyllis Hoffman, Anne Elgar Kopta, David Britton, and Stephen Roberts.

Todd has worked as a model in national print campaigns for PetSmart and Dillard’s. He has been cast extensively in lead roles for musical and theatrical productions including “Grease” (Kenickie), “The Scarlet Pimpernel” (The Scarlet Pimpernel), "A Christmas Carol" the Musical (Fred Anderson), “She Loves Me” (Sipos), “The Music Man” (Harold Hill), “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” (Snoopy), “Godspell” (John the Baptist/Judas), “Peter Pan” (Captain Hook/Mr. Darling), “The Wizard of Oz” (Scarecrow), “The Singer” (World Hater), and “Cinderella.” He is an AriZoni Best Actor award recipient and two time nominee. He graduated Summa Cum Laude in Economics from Arizona State University’s W P Cary School of Business with additional studies in voice and musical theater, and in 2008 he released his debut CD "Bella Voce" featuring 61 minutes of classical vocal performance.

Former member Scott MacIntyre began playing piano by ear at age 3 though visually impaired since birth. Classically trained, he has been internationally profiled on CNN, Headline News, SkyNews Europe, Global Television Network, and national and local news, radio, and print media as pianist, vocalist, and songwriter. He has independently produced, engineered, and released 6 full-length CD's which include his original material in classical and pop genres. The recipient of top prizes and awards for piano, composition, and vocal performance, Scott has appeared as guest soloist with prominent symphony orchestras, as well as playing such major Arizona venues as the Orpheum Theater, Sundome, Phoenix Symphony Hall, and Gammage Auditorium for thousands in attendance.

He obtained his masters degree in Piano/Vocal Performance in England from the Royal College of Music and Royal Holloway University of London. He was also accepted to both Oxford and Cambridge for further graduate-level research. Scott is the recipient of the Marshall scholarship, Fulbright scholarship (to the UK), USAToday All-USA Academic First Team and is a Rhodes Finalist for Arizona.

Comfortable in her roles as wife, mother, cheerleader, supporter, and chauffeur, Carole MacIntyre’s life happily revolves around her family. A graduate of Biola University in Business Administration and married to her dear husband of 27 years, Carole has home educated her three children for 19 years through highschool. Piano, voice, flute, and guitar studies were taken in years past, and now she enjoys singing and traveling as alto with the MacIntyre Family Singers. She has lectured and performed for organizations in the US and Canada including home school organizations, the Mayo Clinic, Braille Institute of Los Angeles, Canadian National Institute for the Blind, colleges, churches, and charities.

I haven't commented in a while, so I thought I would! =) Besides I wanted to let you know a few things:

First of all, I'm sending Scott's bday present in the mail tomorrow! I know you guys will keep it for him and make sure he gets it! Pictures of his present are in my photo album titled Scotty Mac if you want a sneek preview of the gift!!

Secondly, Katelyn, I'm sorry your brothers are leaving you behind! My brother does that to me all the time, so I know the feeling! You have an amazing voice as well, and are extremely talented! I know someday you are going to go on a tour of your very own!! =)

Finally, I just wanted to let you know that the MacIntyre Family is my favorite family of all time!! Well, next to mine of course! lol

Love you all, and God Bless!!

Hi Carole and all your beautiful family,

Thank you very much for your prayers.

I felt very bad when I watched the AI final and Scott never did a solo in any of the performances, I have always thought that the producers have something against Scott. But GOD exists and He is watching everything that is happening and He will compensate Scott with beautiful and great things.

Scott said that he shared our frustration and he believed God is bigger than all. That's true, but I felt very bad when I read that saddly words. That's really not correct. It truly hurt me.

Take care. Kisses and Hugs.

I received your beautiful CD yesterday and I am so happy listening to your voices. You are so amazing as a group and I am wishing that I could watch you all perform live in the future. Carole, what more can I say? You are an exceptional and lucky mom of exceptional and lucky sons/daughter. And dedicating the CD to Douglas, "Dad you da man"!

Love & prayers,
Inez (BC, Canada)

I am so happy for you all. Scott was amazing last night. Though I wish we'd have seen much more of him. He looked like he was having such a great time! His smile is so very infectious. Your family is so deserving and I know there will be many more blessings to come. As for me.. I am trying to patiently wait for the tour to come to Austin!! lol ..I hope to one day get to meet each of you. You are such a talented family! Take care and try to get some rest after all of those parties! Hugs all around.
