I am an artist from northwest Ohio. I have recieved many awards for my work and my art was displayed in magazines including "Car-Toons". I work with many different mediums including watercolor, acrylic, oil, colored pencil, charcoal and pen and ink. My biggest influences are my mother, who recieved a major in art at the Ohio Northern University and taught education and my grandmother who owned a ceramic shop and did ceramics most her long life. I painted this ala plein aire while the peacock sat on my friend's deck
railing. In Palos Verdes, CA, peacocks live wild & free among the
homes and pepper trees.
I've been so out of the loop lately, that it is really nice to hear from my art-friend and to receive such a nice compliment!
