General
books, music, learning bass (it used to be learning flute....but bass has more rhythmic fun), AFI, ska (all of it...any type of ska is good), making cartoon dolls (computer graphics), going to shows...in terms of brain knowledge stuff....social sciences (like sociology, economics, history) and foreign languages (used to do Spanish, currently take Japanese and Russian) along with foreign relations (by the way, I want to major in International Affairs and Comp Sci and minor in Japanese)

- Le Morte D'Arthur by Sir Thomas Mallory, finished in 1471 during the last three years of his life spent in imprisonment, is a good book. It's old and complex, but read it anyway!
- Dante's Divine Comedy--MUST READ...magnificent book about Dante Alighieri's journey through the depths of Hell, Purgatory, and Heaven
- Catcher in the Rye--Holden Caulfield goes nuts and rambles a lot. I love it. That's how my mind works. It just rambles and jumps subjects constantly, but it's awesome to confuse people.
- Griffin's Black Like Me--This dude hypertans his skin in like the 50s (something like that) and goes to the deep south to see racism from "the other side" since he was white and didn't know what it was like....then he wrote about it
- Orwell's 1984--reading it soon (but it's about authoritarian/fascist government in a fictional setting where it's basically "big brother is watching")
- Heller's Catch 22--reading it next, something to do with a war and if you're crazy then you would wanna stay but you can leave and if you're sane then you want to leave but you cant so if you go "I'm crazy can I leave?" they'll go "if you wanna leave you're not crazy" and make you stay.....it's the great paradoxical story

- Ada Lovelace: the first computer programmer and she was a chick!
- Hunter, for his AWESOME bass-playing (and other musical talents....too many instruments!!!)
- Lauren, because she has so much musical talent as well (okay, clarinet, piano, drums, guitar...would've been trumpet too if not for the braces.....she's insane!)
- Caralee, because she is my bestest friend EVER and always will be and I LHLAS (love her like a sister) and she listens to such good music, I can always get band recommendations from My Midget

About me:
I am a second-year at GWU, majoring in International Affairs and Comp Sci with a minor in Japanese.
I can play 2 instruments: flute, and bass guitar (I no longer completely suck...and I can tap and double-thumb now ^_^).
I also like to play around with configurations and stuff on my Linux box. I'm working on learning Python and C, which shouldn't be too bad given that I already code in Java.
