Mac’s KUNG FU is the Nashville, TN branch of Hei Lin Wushu. We teach Authentic Wing Chun Kung Fu,Hei Lin Wushu, TKD, Judo, and Karate, to include traditional bare hand and weapons combat, history, philosophy, and qigong for health and martial arts. We also offer Personal Fitness Training from our certified and highly qualified staff. No challenge is too big when there are enough people to share in the solution. Your community can become a personal network of resources to support you in your daily life, connect you to other families and empower you to meet your family’s needs. Few things flourish in isolation. Families are definitely not one of those things. Whether you’d like to connect with other families, are looking for educational opportunities or want help in meeting basic needs. Studies show that youth programs have the most success when parents, family members and youth development professionals partner to create a nurturing environment for children and teens. Parent and family involvement, in particular, is important because it contributes to a young person’s school achievement and healthy development. Mac’s Kung Fu Instituteis a temple that enjoys a great lineage with Chinese roots going back to the 1700’s of mainland China. Our system, of Wing Chun, and Hei Lin is a product of southern Shaolin. With Shaolin come Meditations, Grappling, and Patterns. Chi Kung Healing and Kung Fu Trapping arts. The Hei Lin Wushu System has been in the United States, since the 1980’s.And brought fourth by Sijo Wong Lou Phet M.D.(William) Mac’s Kung Fu Institute was Established in 1990 by Sifu Stephen McDonald, current chief Wing Chun Instructor and predecessor of Sijo Wong. Our style has come from a long, traditional history, which dates directly back to Shaolin Kung Fu and Wudang Kung Fu styles. Its current name, Hei Lin, aka western translation (Black Lotus) that means “elegant creation” which inherited the movements of the(Bat'Sou yu)which translates to octopus and is the indication of our school’s philosophy. Men, women, and children of ages 6 to Adults are accepted for enrollment in classes of Wushu, Weapons, and more.
