About me: After putting her all girl punk band on hold for a year to complete school Dj keely s passion for trance music once again took over trading in her drum kit for turntables , after only playing for 6 months and being self taught Dj Keely received her first gig and it has gone from there not having a manager or much idea of how to promote herself for the past 3-4 years keely has spent her time becoming a custom to many different venue set ups and dance floors all across Sydney getting peoples attention the best way she knows how, mixing and through her music.
Throughout her very short career so far Keelys passion, talent, and drive for music is what's landed her many of her gigs and residence's. Weather its Closely supporting or playing back to back with some of Sydney's biggest names Yoshi, Mickey D, Archi, Chia, DLX, Amber Savage, Bexta, Nik Fish, Jumping Jack
PeeWee,Steve Hill, Andrew James, Neal Crawford, Nervous, to name a few. She has also supported International acts such as Nikki Sentience,Cosmic Gate,Lab4, Darude, Binary Finary,Hennes & Cold, Derb, Kai Tracid, A.S.Y.S, hELLRAISER Organ Donars, Matt Darey, Tara Renolds,Phill YORK, ALPHAZONE, Walt,Showtek, Blutonium, Simon Barwood, Ronskispeed, Anne Savage John oo Flemming, D-10, Teknical and in turn held residencies at Progress @ Gas, Daydreams (day club), Energy, Basscode @ GPH, Sorted sundayze and Lost @ Space
Keely has also co-produced a track “Ease The Pressure” with Sydneys own Dj Yoshi which was released earlier this year on Yoshi Self Produced Cd ”Caught in the rythem”, With this under her belt she is keen to make her mark with her original, driving, energetic diverse style in music, her unique clean style of mixing and talent its hard to not love her set whatever your style .
I just love love love music anything that’s powerful in one way or another wether its a hard banging beat or unbelievable uplifting melody , the power, effect and ability you have to move some one just by sounds , notes and noises fascinates me .I have been writing songs before I was in a band but nothing like what I currently doing I love trance its so diverse I truly believe this style of music reflects the complex nature of classical, The power of rock, the connection of tribal, the free flowing sound of an orchestra and the dynamic yet urgent need we all have for that driving captivating Bangin Beat
