About me: Following a ten-year sentence for the murder of his father, Justin DeMeer has been released from prison. Entering a world he has never known as an adult, Justin tries to rebuild his life and repair the damaged relationship with his younger sister, Haydon, an up-and-coming rock star.
No sooner is he out than he learns his sister’s recording career is about to go under as she is running out of money. Believing he has been put on earth to protect her, Justin makes a decision that will affect the lives of everyone he cares about. With the help of his childhood friend Ethan, Justin becomes a car thief to secretly fund Haydon’s recording sessions.
As things seem to be getting better for Haydon and she gets a recording contract, life takes a dangerous turn. Justin steals a car, unaware that it is filled with a large stash of heroin. Manny and Roland – two greedy chop shop mechanics – find the stash and secretly sell it. The drugs find their way into the hands of Andre and Gator, a couple of small time, pot smoking dealers. In turn, they sell a portion of the stash to Ethan, Justin’s best friend, whose addiction is unknown to Justin. Before long, a swanky, rockabilly drug dealer named Gino begins tracking down his drugs, killing anything that stands in his way.
When it seems that Justin will find vindication for his past and repair his relationship with Haydon, Gino’s bloody vendetta comes home. To enact a satisfying revenge, Gino forces Justin to confront him in a game that could leave everyone Justin cares about, dead.
