MAD BARBARIANS are an illustration / design unit comprised of Katsuya Saito and Masumi Ito.
With “MAD, POP, ROCK, CUTE, and STUPID” as their main concept, they produce a wide range of products, such as character goods, illustrations, figure goods, advertisements, CD jackets, and designs.
Gathering attention with the release of “Gas Curry & Spice” figure (TOY2R/WONDERWALL), they are invited to various exhibitions and autograph sessions not only domestically, but also internationally.
Recently, their collaboration with Levi’s Taiwan in the products “LOVE & ROCK” (valentine T-shirt) and “503 x MAD” (jeans) became a big hit.
Continuing from last year, collaborations with Levi’s T-shirt (with Be@rbrick from Medicom Toy) and jeans has decided. Also, they are developing their own apparel brand “PUKU-MAD” as well.
They aim world domination with MAD Characters!
