Animal Mother's Interests
General
Music: creating and sharing. Art: I'm a decent sketch artist and I know my way around Adobe software. Animals of all kind fascinate me. I've become addicted to saltwater aquariums and marine lifeforms. We know more about space than we do our own oceans and I'd like to change that. Cephalopods (octopus, cuttlefish, etc) are by far my most sought after creatures.
Music
I hate Pop music. I hate Pop culture. Other than that, most other music is pretty cool by me. I like most everything from James Taylor to Pink Floyd to Pantera.
Movies
The Crow, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, House of 1,000 Corpses, Road to Perdition (anything Tom Hanks does is good by me) Jacobs Ladder, anything twisted and/or comical. There are some great IMAX movies if you're into true REALITY shows, not this shit they broadcast day-in/day-out on network TV.
Television
LOST. The only television show I have ever gone out of my way to watch every episode. HEROES. The Family Guy. Mostly either comedy, or ocean documentaries. Need I say "Reality" television is for attention whores and people who lack a connection with the amazing world around them. Our nation needs to tune out from TV land for a while and have a serious look at where we are heading. Shallow, egotistical, materialistic sheep... sad.
Books
I honestly don't read enough, and for this I am ashamed. Most of my reading is strictly informational/educational and usually deals with marine life, ecology, oceanography, etc. Yes, I am certifiably obsessed with oceanic critters.
Heroes
My friend Jeremy Moore and all the other guys in Faktion. It's great to see someone close to me have their dreams come true.
Who I'd like to meet: Lots of dead musicians... Layne Staley, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Freddie Mercury, Darrell Abbott.... and some live ones too.
Pretty much anyone who isn't a complete douchebag/cunt. Quite frankly, I'm not seeking friends. The ones I already have are the coolest people I could meet.
