Influences
One of our huge influences growing up was King Johnson, (whom we were lucky enough to share the stage with). Our primary influences will probably always be the Beatles and Led Zeppelin. Other influences include Dave Matthews Band, Phish, The Wood Brothers, Steely Dan, Jimi Hendrix, Beck, Sublime, 311, the Black Crowes, Eric Clapton, Keller Williams, The Rolling Stones, the Grateful Dead, Stevie Ray Vaughn, The Who, Robin Trower, Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd, , Weather Report, Bob Marley, Queen, Tom Petty, Neil Young, Janis Joplin, Joe Cocker, the Beach Boys, the Allman Bros and Oprah.
Sorry we're a little lost. It seems that we have no direction these days. We even have a song called "No Direction", hopefully you've heard it already but if not, later on today you should sit down, relax and find yourself with no direction.
The Wade Burelson Band will be the first show at the Midwest Media Center(2250 Concord Rd., Lafayette 765.269.7525) actuallythrown by the MWMC.
Wade and the boys will be performing in celebration of their new album "Drive" We will be filming for their new video and Nate will be doing a live recording of the performance.
There is a lot going on. Please, come on out and celebrate with us. Cox's Pub will be set up and serving drinks. Everyone must be 21.
