Uninvited guests? No, the UK-based UNINVITED GUEST are definitely on the guest-list of the next Gothic party! Their debut-album “Faith In Oblivion” already sparked a major fire in the British Gothic Scene just as well as their new album “Malice In Wonderland” is received with open arms from both fans and press alike: sombre, symphonic and with a good portion of glam and industrial, the four avantgardists of dark music will rock their way into your ears.

“Malice in Wonderland”, although not a concept album as such, has a very strong theme, concerning the human race, its troubles and its darkness (Malice), but also its joys and its fantasies (Wonderland). The album delivers material to dance but also to reflect on.



CARACH ANGREN (NL)


CARACH ANGREN, hailing from the Netherlands, commit themselves to the musical conversion of myths and legends from the ghost-world and beyond. Their mystically entitled longplayer “Lammendam” tells the legend of “de lammendam”, a saga around the ghost of a lady in a white dress. Carach Angren set the eye-witnessed myth to sound in way the listener feels cold chill crawling down his back.

“Lammendam” is definitely not suitable for the faint-hearted: opulently orchestrated highest-speed songs generate a unique and gloomily tense atmosphere from which the listener cannot elude and takes symphonic black metal one step further. In a blink of an eye, Carach Angren imposed themselves as the premier dutch black-metal band.

In August 2009, CARACH ANGREN re-enter the TidalWave studio to record their sophomore shocker named "Death Came Through A Phantom Ship", an album of naval terror and elemental fright which will be released on February 26th, 2010.



IKUINEN KAAMOS (FI)


IKUINEN KAAMOS are a metal band from Joensuu, Finland, formed in 1997. After a few demos directed to the underground black metal scene, IKUINEN KAAMOS release the conceptual album “The Forlorn” in 2006: Spiralling riffs and progressive rhythms alternating from high-speed passages to acoustic interludes merge with a sepulchral voice to drown the listener deeper and deeper into a timeless emotional abyss.

In 2007, IKUINEN KAAMOS record their sophomore album which remains unreleased as a whole but of which the band releases a free downloadable EP entitled "Closure". It incorporates more progressive elements while maintaining the utterly melancholic atmosphere for which IKUINEN KAAMOS are known for. The EP introduces clean vocals which support a wider range of extreme vocals in their lament. Again the songs take their time to set up the aimed mood and project the definition of Ikuinen Kaamos on the listeners minds eye: an eternal polar night…

Early 2009, amazed by their incredible artistic talent to evoke dismal melancholy and heartfelt emotions with the power of a dark and progressive metal, MADDENING MEDIA invites the band to henceforth create their art under the labels banner.
