NYC Based formed in 1991, the first album "Bring It Down" was released in 1993 on Seed/Atlantic Records... The second album "Panic On" was released in 1994 on Atlantic Records... In 1995 "The Love You Save" was released on Seed records (4 song EP). The third album "Tragic Magic" was released in 1997 on Atlantic Records...The fourth album "Hello June Fool" was released in 1999 on Cooking Vinyl...In between all those records a series of EP's, some rare 45rpm's as well as some 10" vinyl (UK) bits were released.
Well received in The UK and parts of Europe Madder Rose appeared at Reading Festival, Leeds Fest, and Glastonbury as well as others. In the US they toured with Bush, Goo Goo Dolls, The Sunday's, Buffalo Tom, Courtney Love and Hole, Juliana Hatfield, Soul Coughing, Firehose, Belly and others. Madder Rose disbanded in 2000.
