Madd Illz made a rapid climb into the industry by being one of the most ferociously conscious MCs.His name has traveled beyond the Americas with his participation in recent internationally established battle-competitions, such as JumpOFF's World-Rap Championships, which ranked him 8th in the world in 2007. He has broken away from the stigma of "battle-mc" by releasing four albums (Barever, Second Installment, General Article, and United Slaves of America) and coordinating two tours, entirely independent. His powerful stage presence has earned him performances alongside Wu-Tang, Immortal Technique, KRS-One, and a dozen more legendary artists, leading to his upcoming performance at the mammoth underground Hip-Hop festival, Scribble Jam 2008. His upcoming album, Unauthorized Absence, is scheduled for September release with a promotional tour launching in early October
