About me:
Mad Dolly was formed in 2004 in Richmond, Melbourne. With members coming together from several other local bands, this three piece line-up have hard rock in their veins and a blistering stage show to back it up.
Their front man, Alan, hits the chord, then waves his guitar and his arms around, screaming his head off. Eddy, on bass, is a big man and not to be trifled with. The whole stage shakes as he jumps up and down; the whole stage shakes as he pounds out the bottom end on another, bitchin’ track. Robbie, on drums, belts the skins like he’s punishing them, and it’s a no wonder he does; his temper has a reputation.
Playing tight, straight down the line hard rock tracks, Mad Dolly are sure to please pub rock fans; their tight but no frills approach hallmarks them as one of 2006’s underground favourites. Beer, cigarettes, dirty pub rock and sweat, if this is your thing, Mad Dolly’s your thing.
