Sounds Like
? Nothing you have ever heard before, it will blow your mind!!! ?
Made In The 80's' four original members were all school friends and have been together since 2003. In the summer 2006 they met a saxophonist and decided "hmmm lets see what we sound like with him" and after their first practice with him he was in the band hence completing the current line-up:
Phil Jordan
The "Frontman" of the band, Phil is the singer/rythm guitarist. His melodic voice and trebbly tones, along with his unparalleled ability to write licks and improvise lyrics, make him a key feature in song writing and of the quintet in general.
Josh Ludlow
Made famous for his emo looks and cliche rock stance on stage, Josh is the lead guitarist who injects his love for old school guitar into the songs with his epic top-end solos and his ballsy lead licks.
Tom Warbrick
The Bass Machine - bring together his influences of everything from The Bluetones to The Beatles, Tom is the final part that makes up a sublime rhythmic trio for the vocals and lead instruments to ply their trade. He compliments the rhythm guitar and drums with basslines so smooth, you could rap them in rizzla and smoke `em
Ben Swerdlow
The man on the skins, the one that keeps the beat flowing through the songs. His adrenaline filled drumlines provide an energy for Phil to riff off in the early stages of song-writing, and create an atmosphere which help the band to play tight live, and leave the fans feeling fulfilled.
Jack Smith
The Jazz Man - Jack's the baby of the group, what he lacks in years he makes up in style, charisma and sharp-wit. Despite having just joined the m.i.t.e boys, Jack is an experienced live musician, bringing a whole new layer to the made in the 80s "trifle of sound". His sexy, sleek sax brings a new dimension to the table, and has provided the spark to get the band on the run again
