Since picking up her first instrument at the age of five, Madeleine Mei has buit up an impressive repertoire of instruments and songs. She started writing at seventeen, experimenting and developing her unique fusion of fold and jazz.
Her debut album 'Beautiful Places & Beautiful Things' was independantly released in July 2007 and, after selling out within the first eight months, is being re-released in February 2009 under Vital Music, sister label to Newmarket Music, one of Australia's leading jazz labels.
Her music will relax, inspire and move you as she pulls you into her world of rich lyrics and enchanting melodies.
