i like lots of movies. i saw Tarnation by Jonathan Caouette last year. i still think you should watch it.
Another favorite is The Girl in the Cafe. It's sad and pretty and it has Bill Nighy, who is totally great and I like him.
Most recently I watched Nanny McPhee in the car and cried a little bit because I like the little dark-haired girl and also I have a crush on Colin Firth. Shut up.
Television
i gave that shit up years ago. Okay, okay, I watch Lost, but that's it. And sometimes I watch Nova.
Books
I like history. A lot. On my PG nightstand right now: The Fifties by David Halberstam, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, and Stanley Lombardo's translations of Homer's the Odyssey and The Iliad. Past residents of said nightstand: Devil in the White City, The Great Influenza, Franklin and Winston, and Guns, Germs and Steel: The Fates of Human Societies. But I also like smut. A lot. On my XXX nightstand are Audacia Ray's Naked on the Internet, various review copies of erotica by M. Rose, Rachel Kramer Bussel's Naughty Spanking Stories and She's on Top. Collecting dust are The Sexual Life of Catherine M and The Ages of Lulu. In a pinch, my laptop doubles as smutty entertainment. There are lots of pinches.
Heroes
both my kids are superheroes. for real, it's like the freaking Justice League in here.
