I take back what i said about not having any--i guess it just took me a while to realize who they were. brace yourself for a long list of acknowledgments-- first and foremost to my awesome friend and sempai jonathan chu--for all the little things: fixing my stance, stopping to explain something or just asking about my day. you have this great vibe that always effects people around you in a positive way. second, to my canadian boys: kurt (aka puppy) and tommy (aka kitty) my two bestest guy friends. you help me understand the wacky world of boys and taught me to be more confident around them. thank you for putting up with my tears, mood swings, smart remarks, as well as the derogatory nicknames i've given you. i love you and miss you both every day! third to my "associates" michelle, karin, diane, christine, mei, tiffany, erica, esther, and (i can't believe i'm writing this--) alvin. you guys are too cool for myspace. you guys have been so supportive: putting up with my dictatorship and making my dreams seem less impossible. finally to all my friends from abroad, whether you still write to me or not, your presence has helped shape the person that i am. special acknowledgment to my homegirl from Pennsylvania--SHEILA BETZ, for sticking by me for so long and always replying to my emails. and not to mention being the only penpal i've had who's ever checked out my myspace, haha. also to BRITTANY TURCHIN my canadian sis, you dont talk to me much anymore but i wish you the best of luck as you transition to high school. i'll come visit someday--promise! and there are so many other people who've made such an extraordinary impact on my life--whether our time together was long or short. alas, i cannot forget, you, the reader, for reading this section. the saying goes "it takes one to know one" you're a hero too cuz it takes brains of steel to plow through this daunting list of people!
