It's a product of listening to too much Elliot Smith and Fionn Regan (you should really check out his stuff - It's phenomenal).I'm working on some new stuff (I've got a bunch that are like the stuff I've posted recorded on my computer. I got a Tascam pocket studio digital 4 track, so I'll have some more lofi madness up soon. With the Tascam I've been running my keyboard audio output through my guitar petals (makes those cheesy presets a heck of a lot cooler, not to mention a more rocking sound). It's really hard to write rocking stuff without a band, but I'm working on some faster tempo and perhalps even upbeat stuff. It's pretty difficult because I feel horribly pretentious if I don't write what I know, which unfortunately limits my lyrical palate to bitter sweet love songs and songs about my mental issues ;p I'm working on broadening that though and I hope to post the newer stuff soon!
