Hi my name is Harendra Gohil, welcome to my Wife's website, Madhu's Rasoi. Rasoi in Gujarati (our first language) means "food".
Madhu has had a pure passion for cooking since the tender age of 10 years old. She started out learning traditional Gujarati dishes from her Mother and everyone agreed that she was very good at it.
This has continued since marrying me and raising our children.
More recently (the last 6 years) Madhu has been cooking for others, catering for parties, birthdays and weddings. It started with cakes and has developed now to three and four course meals, dinner and dances, events for the local rotary club to name just a few.
There is no one word that will describe the food that Madhu prepares, it varies from traditional Indian cuisine, to East-West fusion dishes, dishes with an oriental flavour, to Italian, and Greek influences.
Madhu has had a lot of success with her catering, it is by no means standard in fact the last event she catered for, her food was described as "exquisitely divine, the burst of flavours on the palate is indescribable".
That quote captures exactly how Madhu's Rasoi tastes.
Who I'd like to meet: Antione Mosiman
