All About Me!

Most kids spend their summers swimming, biking, and hanging out with their friends, but 13-year-old Madi-Lynn spent her summer singing, dancing and rehearsing in preparation for the World Championships of Performing Arts, held in Los Angeles, Califonia. While she was in sunny LA, Madi also recorded an original called "Heaven Knows" with her team which includes Music Producer Eddie Galan. Upon her return home she got busy working on her new Music Video, which you catch on Youtube 99madilynn

    Most kids spend their summers swimming, biking, and hanging out with their friends, but twelve-year-old Madi-Lynn spent hers singing, dancing and rehearsing in preparation for the launch of her six-track original CD demo "All That Matters Most." On Saturday August 13th, Madi-Lynn took the stage at the beautifully renovated Gladstone Theatre in Ottawa to perform the tracks penned with a team of local writers and producers from the Demo King. "This was SO much fun...better than I even thought it was going to be," said Madi-Lynn about her big day. "Lots of my friends and family were there to cheer me on, even my school teachers. It felt so good to have all of that support!" The Children's Wish Foundation will also benefit from this project with a one-dollar donation from each of Madi-Lynn's albums sold going to one of their families. Representatives were on hand for a short presentation during the show. With a mix of cover tunes and Madi's new originals, the audience was taken on an emotional journey by an artist barely old enough to take the city bus alone...certainly not the norm, but amazing nonetheless. "Madi-Lynn gets it...at twelve she understands how to deliver a vocal and make her audience really feel the intention behind the song...it makes writing for her easy and exciting at the same time!" expressed vocal-coach and songwriter Nicole Thibodeau of the Pop Shop performing arts academy. "I can teach people to sing, but no one can be taught to perform...you either have it or you don't." Madi-Lynn's Facebook, Twitter and myspace accounts have thousands of views each, and her website www.madi-lynn.com continues to get hits from all over Canada and the United States. On Reverbnation, the online player used by artists all over the world, it is a regular occurrence for Madi-Lynn to eclipse some of the world's biggest music stars in track plays, making her team very excited for what the future holds. "We are so proud of Madison", expressed her family.
