Is there really a lot of crime on trains that the city need to put
cameras? Or is it a way to control ordinarily citizens. The money they
are going to invest in this project is ridiculous. You can bet the fee
for riding the train is going to rocket sky-high, like if there's any
way to nickel and dime us.
Chicago Tribune states:
The security cameras are among almost $27 million in upgrades
approved Wednesday by the Chicago Transit Authority Board for 406 rail
cars scheduled for delivery beginning in 2010. About $577 million
already had been earmarked for the purchase.
Does a tag on the back seat of a train seat really hurt a person. Can
it be labeled as crime? Do not tell me the city does not have money to
buff a tag.
