Before you call my babies killers, get a handle on your own unruly dog. My dogs were lovers, not killers.
Pitbulls are not people aggressive! They were bred for generations to be family pets as well as bull bating dogs (remember this was not their choice, it is just what they were bred to do).
If a dog showed any aggression toward a person, it was killed. So any people aggression in them was killed off.
If a pitbull is aggressive towards a human, it is because it was raised by a shithead (a.k.a. abused, neglected or socialized in a dysfunctional fucked up kind of way).
Do your research before you go displaying your ignorance about this or any other large/power breeds, as you are part of the problem.
A poodle is more likely to bite you than a pitbull, but you won't see me bashing a specific breed just because the owner is clueless. That would be ignorant.
The truth is, dogs are often times misidentified as a pitbull simply because they are a mixed breed or even worse, simply because they attacked someone or something.
I once was watching the local news and one of the featured stories was about a child who was hit by a school bus while trying to run away from a "pitbull" that was about to attack them. When they showed the so called "pitbull", it was obviously a yellow lab and/or golden retriever mix. How stupid! It's hard to believe a news channel would so blatantly embarass themselves like that out of ignorance (Or maybe it's because the average american will believe just about anything as long as it is sensationalized. Even if it is false).
Too many people out there only hear the story about the pitbull attack and don't get the facts, much less a picture of the offender.

Unfortunately the dog usually gets the blame and not the owner. The blame should be put on the owner. If you cannot handle a power breed, you should not own one. Owning a powerful dog will not make you cooler and is not an extension to your penis nor should they be exploited to boost your ego or guard your illegal activities. And just because you were not the first owner of the dog does not mean you cannot rehabilitate the dog. You just have to have the ambition and discipline in yourself to change the dog's behaviour.
I highly recommend watching "the dog whisperer". I think most people could learn at least a few things from this show and your dog will thank you as well as other people. Furthermore, you won't be part of the problem and will be able to educate others about what you have learned instead of creating another story to be sensationalized on the evening news (by way of abuse or neglect which results in a dog breed getting vilified on the national news).
If you are an unstable person it is safe to assume that your dog will also be unstable and what breed it is has no bearing. Obviously if it is a powerful breed when you make it mean or aggressive, it will do much more damage than a smaller breed.

The truth is our government is all about big business and big micromanagement in all parts of our lives.
It's getting worse and will continue to get worse until enough citizens get involved and tell them that "WE THE PEOPLE" are not going to let it go on.
Our government was founded on the concept of, "For the people, by the people".
Not: mislead the people, fleece the people or even murder the people. This is how it has become and it does not have to be this way.
Please don't be a typical moron and discredit what I am saying simply because you buy into what you are told or not told in the news media or because you don't want to believe it. Objectively take a look at the evidence yourself and see for yourself.
The evidence is out there. This is a fact! The question is, will you believe the evidence. Or will you put your brain in neutral the way our government wants you to?
If you are the kind of person who suppresses peoples' ideas, thoughts or concerns on something they are passionate about simply because it will make your job obsolete or because you don't want to believe it because it didn't come out of your mouth first,...... you too are part of the problem and are also guilty.
