Madman Is Absolute come from Glasgow, Scotland, UK, formed in mid 2000 and have steadily gained respect nationwide in the UK metal scene...
Madman have toured and shared stages along the way with such luminaries as Napalm Death, Anaal Nathrakh, Stampin' Ground, The Berzerker, The Black Dahlia Murder, Textures, The Haunted, Sikth, Breedapart, Ted Maul, Malefice, Mistress, RSJ, Raging Speedhorn, Man Must Die, Co Exist, Akercocke, Murder One, Romeo Must Die, Sylosis, Skindred and Biomechanical to name a few. The most recent release "ELEVENTH HOUR ABSOLUTION" was recorded with highly rated metal producer Scott Atkins at Grindstone Studios in Suffolk. It has been well recieved in the press and continues to turn heads in the metal world.
2008 seen the departure of original vocalist Tony Newall and most recent drummer Matt Holland. This brought the addition of vocalist Adam Holt (ex-Delimserge) and new sticksman Kevin Matthews (ex- Mendeed) into the Madman fold. Tony left due to personal reasons and Matt moved onto join glasgow bruisers Man Must Die - the only british band on Relapse Records rosta.
Now with Kevin's solid metal drumming and Adam's wide vocal abilities, madman's sound and overall live performance is going from strength to strength. Madman will be making a return to Grindstone in 2009 to record the full length and are currently hard at work with the new solidified line-up writing new material which will take Madman Is Absolute to a whole new level in 2009. Our evolution is complete.

That was fine, fine work last night chaps. Enjoyed it immensely. Kevin is a fucking powerhouse and Adam’s vocals were strides ahead from the last time I managed along. Tightest I’ve seen the Madman machine - and I’ve been observing for sometime. Brought a big fucking stunned grin to my face just being exposed to the new material. True defiant underdogs doing it the hard way. It’s a crime you’re playing a venue this size with that turnout. If Carlsberg did gigs..
Thanks for playing at ALMAGEDDON. It was a hugely successful event and every band was top notch.
