My Bloody Valentine decided to give 80's Hard Rock/Heavy Metal a try, and hired in Loverboy's Doug Johnson to do keyboards, and an Automaton built by a talented mad scientist for a drummer with a melting clock crystal.

M.J. all started in 1995 when I started taking joy-tapings (Lanna) on my mom's tape recorded with my newly acquired electric guitar and beat old Yamaha acoustic, after making 2 more tapes (Kramer, Dirty Talk) I started to build some noteriety and popularity around high school for my 45-60 minute ramblings on guitar. After awhile, I started getting good enough to actually sound like a band.

1999 - 2000 - Vehement - Zachary Johnson, Daniel Ochowa, Mike.J - Nu-Metal band based out of Opelika Alabama, part of my "Sellout" period in order to just be the part of a band
2000 - Moonlight Rose/No Relations - Tom, AJ, Hootie, David Dyar, Mike.J - We started off planning to become a bar band, but it all fell through when the rhythm guitarist and bassist left out of frustration with the singer.
2000 - 2003Lithium - James Hawk Davis, Zach Johnson, Daniel Ochowa, Rhysani Lynn, Bobby Stephens, Tony Castaldo, Wayne???, Brian Duh Suneson, Mike.J - Montgomery Alabama based Heavy Metal band that had some minor "hits" on the local radio station 95.1 The Foxx during the locals only hour (Crystal, Babylon, and Empyre being amongst these). Now has an archive channel on soundclick.
Project 2A03 - Mad-Mike - A Nintendo/PC cover project where I cover NES themes and such. Sounds a lot like M.J. except it's Nintendo covers
2008/present - Ancient Tongues - Michael Stonedge, Todd Ishe, Steve, Mad-Mike - Everett based rock/pop band that plays originals, has been in various forms for the past year now, is still seeking drummer, bassist, and MAYBE a vocalist.
2008/09 - Smokin' 66' - Shannon Danks, Todd "Retodded Hot Toddy" Perkins, Gary Dade, Mad-Mike - A Marysville/Everett based band with sort of a merger of heavy rock, alt-rock, funk, punk, reggae, and god knows what else. Has since become "Deliciously Infectious"
2009/present - Todd Perkins, Gary Dade, Mad-Mike, Beau, Kaylee Morgan - Similar to Smokin' 66' except the direction has been changing around dynamically for about a year due to constant singer changes
2009/present - Region of Mad-Mike's - A fictional band performed entirely by me on Youtube performing TV show tunes, doing short skit-bits, and such, a lot like Legion of Rock Stars (whom I'm an avid fan of). The whole idea is based off their pleasure process - which is shutting off all monitoring systems on my computer and playing with 30db noise cancelling headphones whilst singing, playing, and trying not to wake my neighbors at 3 a.m. Just something I do for fun.

I am soooo excited!!! I am the Featured artist at Wise Designz Framing and Gallery (2908 Wetmore Everett Washington) for the month of March! I am featuingmy encaustics, Stained glass mosaics as well as some other creations by me. The artist reception will be March21st 4:00-7:00. I will also be releasings "Smokin66" 6 song demo.
