Mad-Sweet Pangs live in Newark Delaware, the first state in the land of the free. They have large record collections and therefore many influences, many of which are not helpful in describing their sound. They enjoy writing, rehearsing, performing, and touring. Luckily, these tasks are in the cards for aspiring "musicians-by-trade."
In May, 2006, Mad-Sweet Pangs released their debut full-length album, "Stumbling Through Blydepoort Canyon" (recorded and co-produced by Mark Moss, Target Studios) In June 2008, "Witness & Wait," the band's sophomore album, was released independently on Meemaw Records.
Mad-Sweet Pangs points of pride: Named "New Groove of the Month" on Jambands.com; awarded "Best Jam Band" at the 2007 and 2008 Delaware Music Awards; named "Best New Delaware Band" and "Best Instrumental" (WSTW 93.7 FM); airplay on SIRIUS' satellite radio station "Jam On;" a feature spot on ABC's "tuned-in" music series; and tours in 15 states.
