22/11/09 LITTLE UPDATE.
Hello my little lovelies! It's been a while since I've written anything on here, 'cause we've been really busy playing shows to you gorgeous people, and writing new hits to please your ears! I'm just sat at home trying to get through some of the messages and comments we've received since being on tour, thanks so much for those!
Well the new pictures are up for you to have a look at, they were took by my lovely brother in law PJ, thanks to him! I've edited the page a little, and by next week it will have a whole new layout and design, and hopefully be a little more pleasing to the eyes.
So I'm going round to Hannah's later to see her and her friend Aimee who's come over from Ireland for a visit. Good times. On that note I bid you farewell!

03/10/09 FIRST GIG OF THE TOUR TODAY!!!
So our first gig of the tour, and first gig EVER with the new line up and set is at Gasworks in Bradford tonight. We're really excited for it, can't wait to meet the boys from Gypsy Pistoleros and LIAVS! Let's just hope everything goes to plan. I hope we don't get lost, I'm driving and my sense of geography is appalling. Oh well, wish us luck everyone! Hope to see some of you there!

22/09/09 HANNAH AND SALLY GET SEXY
Haha, Hannah just showed me her suspender belt. Maeven love the sexy undies! So yeah, we're just chillin at Hannah's and hating on loads of other bands. And loving on Derren Brown. The man's a genius. Hannah's freaking out with a washing basket full of pants. It's always always pants.
We're really excited for the tour! And we hope you guys will come and see us and stay for a few drinkies cause we loves ya! Hmmmm.

Morning sexies! Just a little news update to tell everyone that we'll be touring in the Netherlands either in December or January. 13/08/09 MAEVEN NEW SINGLE RELEASE / NEW VIDEO UPLOADED / NEW YOUTUBE & FACEBOOK ACCOUNT!!!!!
Hey guys! Just a little update to tell you we changed our mind about the single we are releasing from the new set, the single we have recorded is called 'Girl In Blue' and you'll be able to hear it for the first time ever on Friday 21st August right here on the myspace! We had so much fun recording it with Matt Elliss at Axis Studios, it's sounding amazing and we can't wait for you guys to hear it!
We have also created a new YouTube and Facebook account (links below) so you can see our updates, pictures and all get in on our lives from the videos we make, including the brand new video of the making of Girl In Blue.
On the YouTube we will frequently post new videos so you can all see what we're up to, and also get to know us a little better!

16/07/09 MAEVEN NEED A BASSIST!
Hannah our bassist has now become our vocalist, we're writing all new material and a whole new set and we need a female bassist! If you can be dedicated, up for anything, are a good bassist and good looking, get in touch we need you! You need to be able to practise and tour constantly, not be camera shy, and be very VERY confident!
15/07/09 NEW MAEVEN SINGLE + NEW LINE UP!
A lot has happened since our last gig with the old line up, Mel Nolan and Becca Towler have left, and we have a new drummer, the lovely Tea, and our bassist Hannah is now on vocals! We're writing a whole new set ready for gigs, and recording our new single "Have You Seen Maisie?" this August which will be released online and will be able to purchase for 99p from this page! Also with it will come a new video which is going to be very exciting. So now we need a bassist before we start touring again, so if you know any female bassists or you are one, come this way! Maeven need you!

After numerous line up and material changes, the final members of Maeven have come together with an entirely new set, and a brand new single with a darker sound that will surely blow your brains out. With punky riffs highlighting a twist of metal, blasting drums and a powerful, pure voice, the girls intend on taking the music industry by storm. Maeven have toured with the likes of Trashlight Vision, Dogs D'amour, Heavens Basement and Gypsy Pistoleros, playing to audiences allover the UK and USA, in legendary venues such as L.A.'s Whisky A Go Go and The Roxy and the Underworld in Camden to name but a few. sounds cool, theres a cool small bar near us, loads or alternative bands play there, and they have loads of equipment there 2. just didnt know if you were happy playin in a small venue. we arent that bothered at the size of a venue, its just good 2 get around! but nottingham sounds good. and nomianting a week to do them is a good is a good idea 2. when are you free then? xx
