It all started when I got engaged. I became a bridezilla, always searching for ways to make every detail of my Sept. ’08 wedding unique.
My idea: Rather than sending out boring “Thank-You” cards after the event, how about I create a keepsake they can actually enjoy? The result- a “Thank-You” magazine, filled with photos from the wedding. Why stream the photos online, when our guests can flip through them like their very own photo album? Might as well put that exquisite photography we paid so much for to good use, right?
Then my idea progressed: This is something I think other brides will love to add to their wedding. They can hire me to do it. But, why stop at that? With a full-time job in the music industry and a being a former magazine publisher, I have the skills, knowledge and experience to really take band promotion to another level.
Thus, The Magazine Press Kit was born.
What better way to nab the attention of radio programmers, music editors, labels and bookers than with a FULL COLOR, GLOSSY MAGAZINE capturing the band in all its glory?
There isn’t one!
