Maggie is a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Scotland, and plays with Shetland group Swingin’ Fiddles and the Andrew Gibb Scottish Dance Band. Brian grew up with a musical heritage in the island of Yell, He played guitar from the age of 12, at fifteen he joined the Shetland dance band Da Fustra, at 17 was a founder member of folk group Hom Bru, he also plays in NO Sweat, (rock) , Matt Vinyl (Blues) and the Sheila Henderson Band (country). Brian has taught workshops and night classes for many years. I'm not kidding, thats the cleanest fiddle i've ever heard in my life. Do you record with a lot of reverb. It's a lovely echo sound.
Glad to know the two best musicians in shetland

Hi to you, good to hear from you! I haven't been able to make CC this year (no bloody money!) but never mind, plenty more fish (festivals) in the sea!! I'd LOVE to come to Shetland, maybe if fortune smiles on me I will. :) The photos were a pleasure, some musicians are really photogenic and make taking pics really enjoyable, yourselves included! :)

Would love to see/hear you again, hopefully this year. I've got my fingers crossed!

I'll be away down to Gosport & Fareham in a couple of months and I know I'll be remembering your brilliant gigs there.

All the very best,
Debsx
