Right now, I'm into a lot of different things.
I'm totally into Martha Stewart's book, Homekeeping Handbook: The Essential Guide to Caring for Everything in your Home. And honestly, I don't even like Martha Stewart. But this book is AMAZING! I've even fallen in ♥ love ♥ with cleaning! Who would have thought it possible? ;)
But more than that, God has turned my heart and passion to advocating charities and good causes. He has turned my hands and my voice to these amazing groups and hopefully He will direct me further.
Firstly, there is Tribes Intl, of which I am a member. Currently, we are trying to raise funds to send backpacks to Mareille France for the children in poverty and funds for children suffering from lepersy in Raffierkro, Africa to help build a damn for sanitary water and a home for those who travel for medical attention.
I also advocate for FAAN - it's an organization dedicated to helping those with food allergies, lobbying to protect those with food allergies, and educating and making the public more aware of food allergies. Food Allergies can be very deadly to those who are affected by it, and even by having the smallest amount of compassion to those affected can go a long way. :)
And finally, something I've been aware of for around a year now, but only recently was brave enough to do myself, Locks of Love. Summer time is just around the corner, so if you have atleast 10" of hair to donate, go ahead and go a little lighter this summer, the hair will be donated to children who cannot grow the hair themselves. It's a wonderful case, my SIL introduced me to it and I have to say, I felt amazing knowing that some little child would be able to enjoy my hair.

Wow! He is so close, yet we allow Him to be so far away.
About me: My name isn't really Maggie - it's Amanda. My screen name is Maggie because it's a play on the term Molly Mormon - the perfect Mormon wife. I used to be a Maggie Mormon - the opposite of the Molly Mormon perfect housewife. Now, I'm a former Latter Day Saint, taking it day by day in the arms of my Savior. God lead me away from the Church to deepen my relationship with Him - for what reason - I didn't know. Everyday, He teaches me a little bit more. I keep my name as Maggie Mormon to be easily found and recognized online - however I add to it, "Outside the fold" so people understand - I'm not in the Church anymore. I am not an angry ex-Mormon, not angry at the Church, nor waiting in the corners to attack it either. I'm just me - on my walk and following where He leads me.
Now that that is out of the way. I am a daughter of the Most High God and I ♥ love ♥ Him dearly. He is so awesome! He has lead me to some amazing people in my life right now and I am so grateful for that.
He also blessed me with an amazing little family - a husband, Steve, and two little children, Paul and Anya. I love them dearly. So that's a little about me. ;)
