About me:
I have this alter-ego the Diva of Magic, who is fabulous, flamboyant, dressed up in corsets and feathers and bling who has a 'divine assistant' called Angel who deals with the earthly day to day, a trainer called Paul who gets me sweating with de boxing gloves a couple of times a week, a costume mistress Neat who is de mistress of the sewing machine... the Diva appears about Town performing miracles of magicial prestidigitation and cabaret, making peeps laugh and wonder....
As Romany, I spend my time rehearsing new magic numbers for the Diva, making sure her car works, ironing the costumes and sticking the lost sequins back on... I love dancing and after the Diva has retired to her boudoir with her Brazilian boys after the gig, I zap out to London town to wear out my shoes on the swing and salsa dance floors, then going to hang out at Soho House with my friends mainly magicians/musicians who have also just finished gigs to sip on a nice mug of tea til closing time...
I live in Brighton in a large shared house of musos, loving the light and cafes, biking by the sea every day, and enjoy my pied a terre in London to rest one's weary head after gigging and dancing til the early hours...
