I am one of Elgar's oldest friends, the splendid pianist in his trio, whose warm-up etudes are stunning in their virtuosity.

India is on hold indefinitely. So I resigned. Next assignment begins in Kiev on April 20. Leave India April 2 and travel to Kiev via Israel. Can't resist spending a few days there to catch up with friends and eat salad and cheese and drink Guinness and Jagermeister.
