Songwriting team from the great state that brought you American Idol’s: Ruben Studdard, Diana DeGarmo, Bo Bice and Taylor Hicks, Alabama.
Just when you thought Birmingham would be left out of Season Six of American Idol , we sneak into the AI Songwriting Contest with "Standing in My Power" what we feel will be one of the 20 songs selected for voting. Aycock, Phillips and Talley came sooo close last year with a song penned for Taylor Hicks' debut album. The song, "The Sun's on Me", is also an entry into the AI contest and has been in the Top 50 songs on American Idol Underground several times, so it may have a good chance in the contest also.
Let me cut to the chase:
When we make it to the Top 20 in AI contest, we're gonna need your help, as the songs are voted on my visiting www.americanidol.com and clicking onto the contest pages. Please ask your friends and family to help out with our campaign. Our fan base extends world-wide, so we ought to create some real spin on our entries.
"You've been here beside us, all the way.." as the song says. Let's go all the way to the top together...

Ok we are having an absolute nightmare with the album release and we are running the risk of it not even making it into the top 200. I didn't want to send begging notes to Shaun's fans on myspace but you need to know how important this is. Here's the problem.
The CD is in HMV but doesn't appear in the New Releases, it is filed under R for Rogerson in the Rock and Pop section.
The CD is meant to be in the ASDA recommends section in nearly all ASDA's in the country, but we keep getting calls from people saying that it is not in their local ASDA
The CD has not gone up for sale on Itunes
WE NEED TO SELL ABOUT 600 more units this week to HAVE ANY CHANCE OF SUCESS. Shaun, Phil ,Neil and Lee (The Team) are working 20 hours a day, WE BELIEVE IN THE ALBUM, YOU WILL LOVE IT. We NEED you to get out there and buy it TODAY. If it's not in your ASDA or HMV let them know and let me know, but at least order it ONLINE this week or download from 7 Digital.
This is a bit like the X-Factor when everyone thinks there fave artist will be fine so they won't bother Voting, We need you to get this CD into the Album charts or it's the end of the dream, it's that simple, POST this on, call your friends and familly and let's solve the problem and get this album where it deserves to be.
