Amalthea and Terry of Magickalystics are saddened to announce that we have had to close our Palm Harbor store. We had planned to give more notice of our closing and have a big clearance sale. Unfortunately, the best laid plans… In the midst of getting notices ready to go out about the store, Amalthea came down with the H1N1 virus, complicated with Pneumonia. Her illness was severe enough to warrant a 12-day stay in the hospital. She is home now, but still recovering. We are both very sorry not to have been able to give all our customers a chance to say “goodbye”, but the Lord and Lady obviously had other plans for us for awhile.
The good news is we are still available online at www.magickalystics.com. We’ll be making some improvements to our shopping cart—especially the dreaded shipping calculations!—as well as updating our prices to help our customers save even more. In addition, we are exploring the possibility of reopening a physical storefront once it’s feasible for us to do so. In the meantime, as Amalthea’s health continues to improve, we will be making plans for the more immediate future, such as vending at area festivals and celebrations. In short, we’re looking at this closing as more of a sabbatical than a farewell.
