    Yarmony Music Festival, Copper Mountain, Colorado***** *************** ~~~ Blind Melon at Summer Camp 2008 - near the end of this video: ~~~ Music is important to me, so I'm choosing this for you: Walker ... Sharon Gilchrist; Seven Story Mountain...Railroad Earth; One Reason ...Tea Leaf Green; Amanda Lynn...Hot Buttered Rum String Band; This House... Drew Emmitt; She's Mine...Brett Dennan; Cacoon... Jack Johnson;~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When I was young I saw myself growing old and sitting in a rocking chair on the front porch with my life's partner, looking out over the forest and meadows. Watching the great-grandchildren frolic in the yard. I remember distinctly hearing the birds and small animals, squirrels and the like, scampering about.~~~ Now that I'm old enough to sit I'd rather be in my running shoes and feel the music in my soul, my heart and my bones.**********~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ potlucks, dinner parties, playing with babies and kids of all ages, knitting scarves, dreaming vividly, watching the moon grow, lighting fires, thrift stores, sparkly wandering jews, fireflies, soft and furry clothing, eyes, singing along to the song in the air, hugging everyone, looking out the window first thing in the morning, sunshine after lots of rain, raw foods, going places I've never been before, getting high without substances, jumping up and down at shows, organizing stuff, people, my children

You Are a Warrior Soul, Today. Ask me tomorrow and it will change!
You're a strong person and sometimes seen as intimidating.
You don't give up. You're committed and brave.
Truly adventuresome, you are not afraid of going to battle.
Extremely protective of loved ones, you root for the underdog.

You are picky about details and rigorous in your methods.
You also value honesty and fairness a great deal.
You can be outspoken, intimidating, headstrong, and demanding.
You're a hardliner who demands the best from themselves and others.

Souls you are most compatible with: Old Soul and Peacemaker Soul

You Are a Dreaming Soul
Your vivid emotions and imagination takes you away from this world
So much so that you tend to live in your head most of the time
You have great dreams and ambitions that could be the envy of all...
But for you, following through with your dreams is a bit difficult

You are charming, endearing, and people tend to love you.
Forgiving and tolerant, you see the world through rose colored glasses.
Underneath it all, you have a ton of passion that you hide from others.
Always hopeful, you tend to expect positive outcomes in your life.

Souls you are most compatible with: Newborn Soul, Prophet Soul, and Traveler Soul

Who I'd like to meet:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The 14th Dalai Lama*****
Anyone waiting in line at the porta potty backstage.......
People who have morals and relate to the world with those ethics.~~
People who simply cannot live without music.~~~~~
People who love their children as much as they love themselves and would step between their child and danger.~~
People who know that life is not worth living if there is no love.~~
People who try to live simply so that others may simply live.~~
People who know there is more to this life than meets the eye.~~~
    Don't miss Vince Herman of Leftover Salmon in his electric folk, alt-country, a dash of bluegrass and good ol' rock and roll side project that is Great American Taxi at Lincoln's newest venue the Bourbon Theatre this Wednesday June 24th!!. Tickets only $10 in advance!!
    Great American Taxi's sound has been compared to a variety of roots oriented bands including New Riders of the Purple Sage, a "Grateful Dead for the new millennium," Wilco, Uncle Tupelo, The Byrds and more. People will hear threads of the Leftover Salmon fabric propelled by an inspired Herman being supported by a cast of talented minstrels ready to follow Herman to the land of 'Festival!" Herman's in-your- face, in-the-moment improvisation helps bring the party to Taxi's well-crafted songs. People from all backgrounds will be able to latch onto something in the band's sound. Great American Taxi is truly a melting pot of musical tastes and styles all rolled into their "Americana without borders." The band has appeared at several premier music festivals including High Sierra Music Fest, Wakarusa, Summer Camp, 10,000 Lakes Festival, Dunegrass, and Nightgrass slots at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival.
    Rad Kadillac Productions and Box Awesome are proud to present "Outside the Box: Spring Session vol. 1," a new community driven event focused on the celebration of music, the season and all things Outside the Box. The event will take place on Friday, May 1st, inside and outside of the Box Awesome in the Historic Haymarket District in Downtown Lincoln, NE.
    We have assembled three stages showcasing some of the amazing talent that we have right here in Lincoln and Omaha. Two stages will be inside the Box Awesome at 815 O Street and our Main Stage will literally be Outside the Box underneath the recently completed O Street overpass. Due to the cover of the overpass and the two stages inside, this will be a rain or shine event. Gates for the 18 and over event will open at 5:30 p.m. and the music will start promptly at 6 p.m. There will be continuous music for seven hours as we have staggered the performances so that there will never be a break in the action between the stages.
    Come join us for a celebration of music, good people, the season and all things Outside the Box! A truly unique event with over 15 bands for only $10 at the gate. We look forward to seeing you at this inside and outside festival experience.
    100% LIVE!
    Don't miss the return of That 1 Guy to the "Good Life" as he takes that stage at the Waiting Room Sat. night Apr. 25th. Blue Martian Tribe to open the show @ 9pm. Only $10 in advance for this event! Trust us on this... GO!
