Takeshi Kitano, Aki Kaurismaki, (that’s 1 and 2 folks. The rest are random) Annette Funicello and Frankie Avalon, Jean-Luc Godard, Roman Polanski, John Cassavetes, Jacques Tati, Peter Sellers. Et al. The list is long.

About me: I AM PROUD TO PRESENT, for the first time on the internet, my entire trilogy following the absurd adventures of your favorite Skater Thugs - Bootsy and Rachel! Ron Kelso plays Rachel and I play Bootsy and my good friends fill in the rest. Originally produced by the collective I was a part of called Stationwagon. Enjoy!
About me...
HELLO. I am a filmmaker, actor, entertainer and comedy writer from Chicago. Making films is a dream and a love of mine.
I've honed my skills to a professional level where I'm capable in accomplishing what I set out to do. My vision is clear and my confidence is secure. As an actor/filmmaker I am interested in new and fresh material as I would rather attempt something new then something familiar. I want to show an audience a piece of entertainment they've never seen while hopefully making them laugh or chuckle. This is my mission in life....
The one thing I want to do is make my epic comedy, the Charlotte Affair. You can read about the script and what I have planned for it here...
*NEW VIDEO ~ Here is a scene from my 60 minute comedy, Exclusively Yours. I play three different characters, see if you can find them!
"The Boss's son comes to visit the office in order to get the keys to the family car. But the Boss is given an unnecessary description why. A scene from my film, Exclusively Yours."
*DVD ~ So this 60 minute ridiculous comedy is called Exclusively Yours. I star in three separate roles as employees of a shady "product" company.
As reviewed by the Chicago Filmmakers recently -
"...this inventive comedy about three office misfits features local talent Mike Finch directing, writing, and starring in the three main roles. The Boss is a shrewd gangster/pimp hybrid who can't manage his staff. The playboy Salesman and hapless Graphic Designer constantly provoke his wrath, and bad business deals, romantic entanglements and computer fiascos are the order of the day. Comparisons to Peter Sellers are well deserved, but the ripe parody here is more aligned with Chicago's live comedy scene, where the situations seem at once absurd and uncomfortably familiar."
And from the Chicago Sun-Times...
"Chicago writer-director Mike Finch, a versatile comic, makes his video debut with "Exclusively Yours." In a small office offering uncertain services, he plays the roles of the boss and two employees: a slick salesman and a nerdy graphic designer using a vintage Apple computer.
Finch lovingly fashions a trio of truly peculiar characters with sexual gripes and facial tics. Backstabbing lust and workplace treachery lead to gunplay. "Exclusively Yours" steps out of the one-room set for scenes shot in parks. These zooming interludes work like takeoffs on the atmospheric "pillow shots" by Japanese auteur Ozu.
Linked to the local improv scene, Finch scores an extended skit with skewed originality. The decor is likewise improvised: "Art Direction Provided by the Finer Thrift Shops of Chicago."
This digital feature would not have been possible without the help of my good friends and many others. I feel so lucky to be surrounded by good people that won't let me abandon my vision. If you want a DVD, let me know. They're out at the moment, but I am in the works with someone to possibly have some more produced. Stay tuned!
*NEWS ~ I made a new video.... it's a Goth video I made in honor of German folklore. As a sort of fun, scary romp to get you in the mood for Halloween!
And please remember to check out my Pinback video If you don't feel like surfing to my YOUTUBE PAGE. Basically I dressed up like my good my friend Rob, and my longtime collaborator Mick dressed-up like Zack, and we spoofed them for fun. (So naturally, band approved)
Oh. Well then... two great photos! What a master you are! :P

Haha well, explain this repulsion of douche bags and how that relates to you not being able to model.
