Magic Pill is band out of Los Angeles. They are all players who come from different backgrounds that make up a unique, fresh new musical sound. They channel great energy into their writing and live performances The singer Dave Corrigan is a polished vocalist and accomplished writer who brings a brand new sound to the music scene. Hailing from New York City one of his many strengths is his ability to stretch and twist different melodies and harmonies into something fresh... Live he also shines and helps fuel the audiences energy throughout each show. As a trained singer from established vocal coach Ron Anderson, his vocal range is perhaps untouched in the "rock" area today. He has played in all kinds of rock bands in the LA area and is a well sought after vocalist. Eddie Cleland and Steve Refling, the drummer and Producer, come from a band called Big Umbrella. They toured up and down the west coast and also received airplay on many different radio stations throughout the US and Canada. They both have played in various R&B bands, rock bands and blues bands before connecting in Big Umbrella. They bring an experienced feel and creativity to the music that seems to work well with both the singer and guitar player. Both have toured & recorded internationally as well. Mike Aronis is a guitar player who hails from New Jersey and made a 4 year pit stop at Berklee College of Music majoring in Film scoring He has played in numerous bands in Los Angeles, some R&B, some progressive, and some blues bands. He also has written music for Films and commercials. His style is very bluesy with influences of many different rock bands He thinks in terms of the song first and has proven to be a good fit for the rhythm section and the singer. Jonny Morrow is the newest member. He’s a very sought after Bass player in the L.A. area. He brings a fresh energy and exciting element to the band. The energy and creativity feeds very well within this band and they seem to be having a load of fun while playing. They also like to think outside the box when writing a song, helping the style of Magic Pill to be unpredictable and fresh. Their music has been placed in various films which has helped fuel their drive for creating. The debut CD “ Life Gets In The Way“ was just completed. Their hope is to have their fan base grow as well as their area of playing. Right now its limited to the LA.,CA. area. The band is looking for management and backing to broaden the scope of its potential!!
