We play jazz mostly from the real books. Occasionally, we use European melodies, cinematic music, commercial jingles, and cartoon music and play them in straight jazz.
Magic Ray Jazz is a collection of jazz musicians devoted to performing in and supporting locally-owned establishments generally in the immediate areas along the eastern part of the Washington DC beltway. Please join us to support live jazz and our local small businesses.

We perform the Saturday night and the Sunday brunch at the Ze Mean Bean Cafe every second and fourth weekends.
