Last, but not least, we wish you the best for a prosperous and happy 2008 - in other words, HAPPY NEW YEAR a little early!
Thanks for the birthday wishes! The new music (or new to me, as out of touch as I've been lately) sounds great and I plan to be making some Magnetic purchases soon with my birthday/holiday spoils!
And yesterday I saw you kissing tiny flowers,
But all that lives is born to die.
And so I say to you that nothing really matters,
And all you do is stand and cry.
Let's see...the first time I came across Magnetic Records was back in 1994 with "Here" from Hieronymus Firebrain--a personal fave from that year. Nice stuff!
In celebration of the full moon, I'm releasing my newest song on Myspace, "You Always Knew". I wrote and recorded it this month. The Chorus is "I'm another form of you". I was inspired by this headline quote on singer/songwriter Alicia Lyons myspace page that reads, "In Lak'ech. I Am Another Yourself". Please take a listen and let me know what you think. And may we all be blessed with many more moons on this beautiful blue planet that gives us life. -Josef (Satyavan)
P.S. We can change the world doing ordinary stuff.
Just listened to "Here" and "There" last night while I was doing post-prod on 1000+ photos from David C's wedding in NM. Though, truth be told, it might have been "There" and "Here", but neither was "here". "Here" might be "There" in a couple months because we might be moving down "There". Hear? Word.
Hutch and the Hookers say Thank you for being a friend. Any CVB related stuff is good by us. Stop by and hear our hit song written for all the girls who cheated on us.
"Bitches they make me sad.
Bitches they make me mad.
Bitches they are bad.
But they give me some lovin"
