ABOUT US
To paraphrase Groundskeeper Willie, 'If it wasn't against god's law we'd make live music our wife'.
Our whole operation is geared around giving you professional quality recordings by people who really give a shit about live music. We're all professionals in film and TV production and when we're not working we're out in the crowd at gigs and festivals, just like you are.
Our crew has been capturing live music for years as camera crew for some of Australia's most kick ass Live Music Production teams, Livecast in Sydney & Browndog in Brisbane. Livecast have moved away from Live Music Production for a while and Browndog are focused on covering entire festivals and large events. (If you're anywhere near Brisvegas and you need any live music production, check them out first!)
Magnetic Paradox was created to make Live Music Production available for everyone, especially the little guys.
Our crew have also worked closely with Hamish Siddins, Sydney's leading music industry EPK producer, even creating the odd Myspace Special.
Loosely based in Melbourne Australia, Magnetic Paradox has satellite bases in Sydney, Newcastle, Byron and Brisbane. This means we have crews standing by on the ground in each city and accom ready for one of our Live Music directors to rock in and get the best recording of your performance as possible.
If we're offering services in your town, it means we've been a local there at some time or another in the last decade and have the contacts to pull together everything needed to do what we do best.

Our festival work includes Brisbane's 'Livid' & 'Woodford' (ok so it's sunshine coast hinterland), Byron's 'Bluesfest', Newcastle's 'Strikeback'; Sydney's 'Cometogether' & 'Cockatoo Island' and Melbourne's... oh, wait, we only just arrived here. All of this camera crew work was completed for festival productions by Browndog & Livecast.

a new release or just introducing yourself.
Some EPK's that work well include:
- General 'Meet the band / artist' EPK.
- Behind the scenes (music video, recording studio or live performance)
- Track by track - an interview rundown of your latest release, track by track.
- Music Festivals and Events– have a day by day summary of highlights on the web before gates close each night, or give your sponsors a DVD after its all over to show
them where their money was wisely spent.
The EPK is a perfect add on to any of our other packages and when bundled will be offered at a reduced rate.
MUSIC VIDEO $POA
From a simple studio performance clip to a full scale concept clip, we've got you covered. A broadcast quality music video is more affordable than you think and we can see it through from concept to creation.
WEB DEVELOPMENT $POA
We also work closely with one of Australia's best boutique web development companies,
Newism. They offer a range of services from custom styling your myspace page all the
way through, to designing and creating every aspect of your online presence, all of which
can be bundled with one of our video packages.
STILLS PHOTOGRAPHY $POA
We work closely with one of Australia's leading music photographers, Nic Bezzina.

well i was at a party in the bush and this lady who i thought was sexy said to me out of the blue if you were an animal you would be a crab i am staring into a fire in the middle of nowhere and she says i would be a crab
now in the beginning this made me feel a little weird who did this woman think she was no man would be happy with a crab right give him a tiger a lion a horse and eagle but a crab
as the night when on i developed a crab dance that took the heat off me a little bit seems people can love crabs especially when they dance there was crab sex in a tent later that night who would have thought a crab could do such things
two things i have learnt about the crab one is that its teeth are located in its stomach so if i the crab happened to ask that sexy lady to just relax and rest her head on my stomach well you know the rest and secondly if a crab loses his claw in a battle he can just grow it back which would make piano playing interesting
