    MAGNIFY@PARACHUTE 09.... Magnify is a combination of passionate songwriting and explosive music. A melding of rock band and worship expression, a place of intimacy and outreach. Six people on a pursuit of God representing an army of people sold out for Christ. Consistently leading worship week to week, year to year, so their worship does not have to be manufactured to suit the environment, but flows as a natural expression of their lives. Magnify's aim is to create music that touches the heart of God and speaks fervently to people, songs that captivate the heart of a generation and point them towards a living and powerful Creator. Breaking down the walls of ritualised religion and building pathways back to the Father .. .. All the members of the band are involved in their church worship team (www.citychurch.com.au / Ps Wayne Alcorn) every weekend and have a strong mission focus. .. .. Magnify won Best Christian/Gospel album at the New Zealand Music Awards in 2004 with their debut album "In Wonder". .. .. BIT OF HISTORY Formerly of Wellington, NZ now Brisbane, Australia. Magnify began out of a local church music/worship setting at Elim International Church (www.wn.elim.org.nz). Consisting of Tai Fuimaono, Iopu Vaasili, Andy Hamilton, & Ric & Marissa Knott. Magnify was started because of the desire to take the music/worship out of the four walls of the local church to the wider community. .. .. In 2007 the story changes with Ric & Marissa heading over the ditch to look after the worship at City Church. Muzz, Mikey, Laz and Pete have now entered the picture to continue the story that is Magnify. .. .. .... .. .. ..
