The Story So Far: The Chinese character for crisis also means opportunity. This is the mantra of Magnuson. From the coffee shops of San Diego, to the rock clubs they frequent today, Magnuson has been playing their unique brand of Indie/Prog in whatever format they could cobble together. Comprised of Greg and Kyrsten Magnuson, this dynamic duo has collectively been known to play drums, guitar, bass, and keyboards live all while maintaining beautifully intricate harmonies. Their latest tour takes them on the road in the Pacific North West driven by a simple passion...to play music.
Performing songs from their 2007 EP "The Struggle Within" and hits off their debut album "Last Days" these two have honed their sound into lush, heavy guitars, backed by fat drum beats topped off by their signature alternating vocals. Some may wonder, after listening to their recorded music if these two can pull off a "White Stripes/DFA1979" type sound. Fact is, they not only pull it off, they do it with such passion it's hard to imagine it live any other way. Listen to the songs and watch the live video, you won't be disappointed.

Hey! We have a concert coming up in New Port Richey FL on Saturday. This will only be the second time we have played in that area so we're trying to find some fans to come and check us out. One of our booking agents has fallen ill and doesn't have health insurance so we're holding a fundraiser in his honor at Bourbon Street. All donations appreciated.
Check out our music when you get a chance too and let us know what you think. All of the recording thus far have been done by us in our garage so they aren't anywhere near studio quality but we are working with Rising Sun Music to get that rectified. Our full length album will be availble by the end of January.
We have had some great success this year and have had the opportunity of opening for such bands as: Sick Puppies, Hurt, Adelitas Way, Cage and Bulletboys.Thanks for the support and hopefully we'll see you soon.
