Hi Everybody,
My name is Philippe BOUTHEMY, I'm a singer - songwriter inspired by the american black music as SOUL, RN'B and above all FUNK, the one of the 80's that I particulary like /
Nevertheless, I'm staying attached to french language concerning lyrics, trying to join both things : french words & groove. /
Before being able to play and compose some Funk, I played other musical styles, in groups as a keyboard player & as a chorus-singer. Then I became the singer in a group playing funk. We performed in pubs in our local area. These were my beginnings as a singer, and it is at this time that I really found my style. Until then I was a simple musician often hidden behind my roots. I moved to the front of the scene and I immediately loved it, then I discovered the feelings which the song aroused in me, which was a turning point. Finally I started to compose, initially by seeking a little bit of me, in various styles, then

Salut Magoo, Très content de ravoir de tes nouvelles. La triste nouvelle oui, j'allais le voir dans 2 semaines à Londres, C'est la fin d'un rêve, d'une époque, d'un mythe. Je suis réellement touché par sa disparition et j'ai surement pas encore réalisé la chose, c'est tellement énorme que ça ne peut pas être vrai. En tout cas bonne continuation à toi Magoo, et au plaisir de te revoir bientôt. Dam's.

merci pour tes tracks excellent travail..(dans mes prochaines session funk mix ) je mixe et écoute du funk depuis les années 80 et encore aujourd'hui... James Brown , Fatback , Aurra , Brass Construction Bar-Kays , Fat Larrys Band et bien d’autres. . . mais là j'ai découvert Magoo et je dois dire !! ben je dis rien !!!
