My name is Nicholas Mcgowan A.K.A "Ma Gowan". Born to Alva and Venesha McGowan, 26 years old and the last of six simblings i'm so proud to be the child of such wonderful and supportive parents, they thought me, that music is the invisible thread that holds our heart mind and soul together.
My favorite sports are basket ball, soccer, tennis and eight ball pool. Music is what i'm doing now as a career, with extraordinary talent, discipline, drive and respect for others and my work, there is no doubt in my mind about my musical abilities. Certainly, i have great potential and confident that one day i'll become one of the world's greatest artiste ever seen. Being aware of the effort it will take, yet my core of humility and appreciation for life's daily lessons are the driving factors to ensure my sucess.
To me the greatest treasure is the gift of life, so i use life to write, make music and sing so that it can reach the hearts and souls, of thousands around the world. I remember the first time i heard one of my song played on the radio, i felt as if there were no limitations to what could be acheived. Because our talent is what we make it, so we choose how to make a differents and i chose music to make a change in society and bring my talent to the fore.
Therefore i'm really looking forward to meet that person, who has that same passion and have what it takes to get me to the level i want to be (musically). (Word is power,music is life, action speeks louder then words).
The first single out is COLD WORLD plus more to be release including songs like, Condolence, Introspection, Ur friend and my friend, Want a man like me, Gone and ect from the up coming album entitled (The Heart Of Kingston). I believe in writing songs about things that are happening in Jamaica and around the world, in belief of touching peoples heart in a soulful and passionate way. I've done collaboration with ''MR Lexx'' and would love the oppertunity to do more with artiste like, Beres Hammond, Tanya Stephens, Shaggy, Sean Paul, Bounty Killer, Diana King, Cherine, Alaine, Jovi Rockwell and many more.
I've being on shows like, St marry mi come from, Peace in school tour, In concert at gemini in ocho rios, Peace day concert at kingston waterfront, Reggae Camp Fire including others.
