~MIDAS~
1998 - June 9,2008
It is with great sadness that we had to let sweet Midas go to the Rainbow Bridge this morning. He had 2 wonderful months with Laura and her 3 Goldens. He will always be remembered. He was one of the special ones.
This is the hard part of rescue. We can’t save them all and it’s a hard lesson no matter how many times it confronts us.
God speed sweet boy. Run free!!!

MAGRR was formed in August of 2001. Our mission is the placement of homeless golden retrievers in loving homes, and to the education of responsible pet ownership.
Memphis Area Golden Retriever Rescue is a non-profit Tennessee Corporation and also recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) organization making all donations tax deductible.
MAGRR also works with several groups in the New England - New York area to place our goldens in very special homes in the Northeast.
Who I'd like to meet: MAGRR New England, was launched in October of 2006. The south is just overrun with homeless dogs and cats, and we have our hands full with golden retrievers looking for loving families. In the New England area, a rescue golden retriever is hard to find. MAGRR New England created a way for us to put our MAGRR goldens in loving homes in the Northeastern area. See the photos of our dogs that have found forever homes in the northeast at www.magrr.org!
Thank you for the birthday wishes! I got my very own hamburger and some macaroni salad!!! I normally don't get people food, I guess I am special today!!
