ello. that sounds great! glad you enjoyed it. job hunt is a little better, started a new job in co-op but the hours are stinking (friday and saturday nights, useless) so still keeping an eye out. mostly just playing with louis, cromarty club (in my top 10) and the midden (folk band, touring germany in august). play now and again with a rapper called jae p too, hes pretty cool. did a new venue in edinburgh called the voodoo rooms last night, its really nice! just finished recording a demo for chris barclay's band the french wives, they're very good. in my top 10 aswell if u wanna check them oot. playing in captain's rest through here on the 15th, dunno how easy it is for you to come through, you're obviously welcome to crash if u need to. just gonna be hanging about glasgow and spending any money i have on stupid things (like always). what u got planned for rest of summer?x

What have you been doing today? I just got back from school a wee while ago...I don't know how teachers do it - my voice was killing me after just one day and mine are just individual lessons with nice, well behaved girls! Do you know, I went to practice driving in the car park last night and rob had a go - he's miles better than me! You should have seen his reversing, at top speed as well! James had a football competition in dingwall today so went away on the early ferry...not without waking me at 6:30 first! If I didn't love him it would be off with his head, though I think all he got was a bit of a grunt anyway! There's a reason six o clock and stupid o clock start with the same letter. haha.

Think my back was nearly broken by the time i got to the airport the other day! and what a palava i had there...it wouldn't fit on the normal conveyer belt thing for bags so i had to go and get it weighed at the 'oversized baggage' placey, then went back to check in bit and they said it was over the legal weight they're allowed to lift!! So had to open it all up and take my music folder out and weigh it again...and then it was 1kg under! woohoo! (you should have seen me try to squish my music into my hand luggage though! :-) what time are you heading off today? I'll be back at the flat at about 6 I think. will you be gone by then? I've just finished packing for flying back down and I'm telling you, the poor case is struggling to stay closed. I think some poor passengers might get more than they bargained for when my case explodes on them going round the conveyer belt thingy and pants fly through the air...!!! (they're pretty ones so it's not quite so bad. but still, the embarrasment!!) I'll just look round accusingly at other people!! heehee! but be prepared for a call from me if it happens!! I think the moral of the story is that I should learn to travel lighter. mmmhh.
So how are you getting on in the nice tidy flat?! ONE WEEK TODAY!! woopwoop!! i met up with mairi gray for coffee (well, hot chocolate!) and she was saying she was going to iain's thing...there was a split second where i temporarily blanked that you guys are twins and I was like, 'that's margaret's birthday too...'. oh dear. I think they should lock me in the castle and leave me there!
anyway, bettter go and make sure everything is in my case (though tough luck if it's not!)
