The native-language exchange in the massive ensemble-based music of Mahogany is replete with magic dynamics, lots of bottom, attitude, sex, fierceness, and sensitivity. Mahogany is designed to chemically trigger any brain out of sonic sterility and into ecstatic bliss.
These boys and girls own the block and that is no lie. The band members who comprise the group, and the songs they play, are made in the highways of Detroit, on the rusted rails of Ohio, into Philly, up the Atlantic Seaboard, all the way to deep New Jersey - and made in Brooklyn, New York, where the band has resided through the most glorious and tumultuous decade in the city's history.
Gone are the days of hunkered-down digital-analog campouts. Mahogany knows how to build 'em, and they know how to shut 'em down. It ain't rocket science - it's only rock 'n' roll.
