Without naming some & missing others the overall space should explain. Anything from chillin to thinkin, foot tappin to head knodding, arse moving to hip shakin kinda stuff. Spoken word, soul, funk, jazz, afro, latin, disco, hip-hop, rNb, electronica, broken beat plus the melting pot thats 'deep house/soulful garage'.
John Long Presents: Deep House Chapter 2
Grew up around my parents US-UK rock/folk tastes & ample vinyl collecting. Basically the sounds didn't impress and the ears went in other directions. Disco, Ska & TwoTone in the late 70s/early 80s, Electro/Beakbeat in the early to mid 80s, Acid House late 80's to early 90s and Soulful/Deep House throughout the remainder of the 90s, all of which had obvious & major influence on present day tastes.
Like decades past a music genre shouts and makes all the difference. For me acid house arrived and became the music movement that gripped a chunk of the generation. Taking us on missions down a-roads, b-roads, across muddy fields, into warehouses & random parties. Exposing us to industrial sounds N loops, jackin baselines, dancing that would make parents cringe then landing us in the madness of 90's superclubland.
ROLANDO - KNIGHTS OF THE JAGUAR (filmed SW Detroit)
Through these times many travelled the country clubbing, many stepped forward promoting their own nights, some producing their own music, some kick started record labels and many ended up diggin vinyl & dj'ing, i.e moi. Not something that rules my life but seeking out tunes the day after the night before, crate raiding originals, sniffing out tracks of the moment/times gone by and playing out is a passion. With too many toons to hand mixing it up on the ones N two's is never usually far away. Student unions have been entertained, 'larger house' parties (King Street-Chester), Phil Cooper's NuNorthern parties, weekly residency at Life-Liverpool, on going monthly residency at CottonOn and spells in Belgium (Nick Blow's NuNorthern parties) & Ibiza (Ancient People & Savannah).
So after many a night giggin, many a day diggin, crazy trips to the Hac, Cream, Sweet, Basics, Progress, Shindig, Shelleys, Sound Factory, Body & Soul, Dance Ritual and many many Southport Weekenders we arrive at the present, still going strong and still smilin.

As for myspace, just staying in touch, saying, displaying and keeping informed. Here alongside friends, people in similar circles, people thinking similar things, those admired and those that caught the eye.
Outside of the day job and apart from being shyt on the kareoke i'm an easy going, music heeed, vinyl junkie, djay, sneaker freak, watch meister and LFC'r. Amongst many things enjoy chilling, over doing it with friends, a good giggle, socialising, parties, music, films, concerts, meeting others and generally getting out & about......and of course ladies.
Anyway thanks for checking the space, have a nose around & go easy
- Nick

So it looks like it's the black runs for Lotto !! I checked the webams, and where i like to ski, there's just the odd lump of ice left, some very pretty heather, and Grass !! rofl. I'll let you know how it goes lol.
