マイア・バルー
（vocal,flute,percussion）
6歳まで犬に育てられる。
父、“ピエールバルー”のもと、幼少の頃より舞台が遊び場という環境で過ごす。
ブラジル漫遊中に聴いた美しい音色に感銘を受けたのをきっかけにフルートを始める。
18歳の頃、戸川昌子がオーナーの店「青い部屋」でネオちんどん..と運命的な出会いをし急遽サックスを独習、担当した。 その後..のメンバーとしてサックスとフルートを演奏、かつ作曲と編曲を手がける。
2005年より『CABARET SHINJUKU』（日本の個性派ミュージシャンをフランスに
紹介し日仏音楽の橋渡しをするイベント）のプロデューサーを務め、
参加アーティスト大集合の初プロデュースオムニバスアルバム、
“KUSAMAKURA”がフランス、カナダ、日本で発売。
坂本龍一のレーベル、『コモンズ』から2007年7月にリリースされる
オムニバスアルバム“にほんのうた”に参加。
2007年春からAbu（e.bass)と駒澤れお(African percussion）と共にソロ活動を開始。
2009年にはJ-WAVE/TOKIO HOT 100 awards,EARTH DAY TOKYO、FUJI ROCK などに出演。
ダイナミックなライブパフォーマンス、類い稀な経験と圧倒的な実力、音楽への愛を武器に、今再び日本発のワールドミュージックを発信

Née à Tokyo
Maia grandit sur le dos d'une chienne jusqu'a 6 ans en croyant que c'était sa mère!
Au pres de son père ,Pierre Barouh (auteur,producteur..)et de sa mere Japonaise peintre, la musique, les voyages, et les rencontres ont fait parties de son enfance.
Lors d’un séjour au Brésil à 15 ans, elle découvre la flûte traversière.
c'est au Canada en faisant partie d'un big band que s'ancre la passion.
En 2002, rencontre avec Kabocha Shokaï (fanfare de rue japonaise) qui pour
l’incorporer l’incite à pratiquer le saxophone. C’est ainsi qu’en été 2002 et 2003,
Maïa boucle 2 tournées en France avec la fanfare.
Printemps 2003, Sortie de son premier album « L’Amitié » à la suite d’une rencontre
avec Kazumi, une chanteuse d’opéra. C’est là où Maïa débutât en tant que
compositrice et chanteuse. Depuis, l'eurasienne navigue entre le Japon et
la France en enchaînant multiples tournées et concerts avec divers musiciens de
tous horizons dont des fanfares, danseurs, troupe de théatre,groupe funk,rock, musiciens Africains, chanteurs traditionnels de Amami.
Depuis 2005 elle réalise tout les an une tournée "Cabaret Shinjuku" qui présente en France les artistes fous fous Japonais.
En Oct 2007 sortie la compilation "Kusamakura" presentant la nouvelles scene Japonaise.
A présent elle se produit surtout a Tokyo avec son trio.bass electrique et percu Africaine.
Maïa est une rare artiste évoluant et provoquant échange et partage dans le terrain de ses 2 racines

Brought up on a dog’s back until age of six.
Born as the daughter of a French singer-songwriter, actor, producer,
Pierre Barouh, and a Japanese artist painter, Maia started traveling
all over the world with her family from her childhood, while shuttling
between Paris and Tokyo, and got familiarized with multicultural
music beyond various genres. In those days, the stages around the
world were playgrounds for her.
At the age of sixteen, Maia joined a big band as a flutist in Vancouver,
Canada, where she experienced the zest coming from the joy of creating
sounds with many players, found the real pleasure of music, and made
up her mind to be a professional musician.
At the age of eighteen, Maia joined a Japanese Chin Don band (traditional
street band) as a saxophonist and started her professional career as
a musician. Since then, she has been devoting her enthusiasm to arrangement,
singing, producing, and etc. She released CDs in Japan, France, and
Canada, and toured around those countries.
In the spring of 2007, Maia started her solo activity with Abdul Satoshi (e. bass)
and Leo Komazawa (African percussion). With her powerful musicianship and
instinct free from any kind of limitation by national borders, she is expanding
the range of her expression and reaching out to the world.

J'ai pense mettre quelques uns de tes morceaux da la selection ci dessous mais evidemment tu n'as pas d'accent. Ceci dit j'ai mixe le Danger dans "la mitape de mes amis" (voir ma page) sur une selection de chabada japonais. Et oui Un H et une F a eu beuacoup d'inluence comme on le sait...
Si j'avais le temps je ferai une radio que de chabada japonais. Mais bon...
